forestry principles to ensure the resilient lasting qualities of a
species selected by A.C. MacLaren Captain of England are retained. All our cricket bats are
made from specially grown or selected English Willow stock, (Salix
Alba Caerulea) under the Willow Blue
guidelines. A project initiated in 1985 by Ian Callen,
International Cricketer and Bat Maker.
By purchasing one of these
superbly crafted and balanced bats, you will not only be
participating in a socio-economic and environmental project that
stores hundreds of tonnes of carbon from the atmosphere each year,
you will be encouraging further Willow Blue
plantings.
