IAN CALLEN - Test Cricketer and Bat
Maker.
Since 1976 Ian has
played and coached as a professional cricketer in Australia, West Indies,
Pakistan, England, South Africa and India.
In 1981 Ian began
researching and learning the art of bat making whilst playing as a
professional cricketer in the celebrated and historical Lancashire League.
By 1985 Ian was hand crafting quality cricket bats under his own brand name
and had initiated
the Willow Blue project now located
at the A.C. MacLaren Plantation at Healesville in the Yarra Valley.

Callen Cricket, bat
making is the tradition associated with growing and handcrafting quality
cricket bats.
All Callen Bats are
handcrafted from English Willow (Salix Alba Caerulea) grown by accredited
Willow Blue growers.
We offer a totally
planned manufacturing process, from the site selection of trees to the final
balancing of the cricket bat. If for some reason you have a problem with one
